What if the finance work just did itself? At this hackathon, you'll build the finance function you wish you had: agents that do the work a founder, a fractional CFO or an ops lead currently does by hand. The idea is simple. Financial operations is the most repetitive, boring and quietly time-consuming work in a startup — and most of it can be automated now. Give an agent structured access to the money records and most of it week becomes a workflow. That's what the Seapoint MCP does, and we're launching it here. Accounts and balances, reporting, transactions and spend, cards, bills and invoices, vendors, treasury, burn and runway — queryable by your agent.
Pick a piece of financial operations — the month-end close, the board pack, the payment run — and build something that does it. You'll work in a Seapoint sandbox with seeded transaction data, so no real bank accounts and no real money. At code freeze you submit a short demo. Work solo or in teams of up to 3. If you're building in a team, we'll suggest mixing it: someone commercial, someone who knows finance properly, someone who can ship. Come with a team or find one on the night.

🏆 Demo Format: Every team submits a live demo at code freeze. Top 5 scored will do a LIVE DEMO. Then of the top 5, 3 shall place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Projects will be judged on: Technical execution, Product thinking, Agent autonomy, UX clarity, Real-world applicability, Safety & oversight design.
