Moonfire • Build Night Hackathon

about this event

Presenting an evening 3 hour hackathon for London's builders, as part of Moonfire's Build Night. We're bringing together a small group of engineers, founders, and researchers. Expect a room full of smart, curious people who are there to build and learn. We'll select around 30 participants, forming 10 teams of three to take on a range of challenges.

Alongside the hackathon, we'll be hosting a live builder workshop from Anthropic, followed by a fireside conversation with leading technologists from Anthropic and Google. At 8:30pm, the strongest teams will take to the main stage to demo what they've built.

We're deliberately keeping the hackathon small and highly selective. You don't need to be the most technical person in the room. We're looking for people who are curious, inventive, and keen to build things. It should also be a useful room to build in. The wider event will bring together early-stage startups looking for technical talent, engineers from frontier labs, and investors backing early stage companies. Selected participants will also receive Anthropic token credits to use during the hackathon.

You can apply solo or as part of a team of up to three. We'll facilitate team matching for people applying individually, but if you already know who you'd like to build with, we'd recommend applying together. Each team member should submit an application and include the names of the people they'd like to build with.
