about this event
This will be a one day hackathon, on the 10th October from 9am to 5pm. The theme will be Invisible AI, where teams of 4 will compete to build products where AI is integrated naturally into what the user is already doing, rather than existing mainly as something they have to prompt or talk to.
Invisible AI could understand what is happening, work across existing tools, learn from behaviour or context, and take useful actions automatically. Think less about adding an AI chatbot to a product, and more about what becomes possible when the product itself is intelligent.
For inspiration, take a look at products such as Granola, which works in the background of meetings and turns conversations into useful notes; Wispr Flow, which turns natural speech into polished text directly inside the apps you already use; Doomersion, which turns doomscrolling into language learning by automatically matching short-form videos to your level; or Tornyol, which uses autonomous micro-drones, sonar and intelligent control systems to detect and intercept mosquitoes.
These are only examples — Invisible AI could be a consumer app, a business tool, a game, a piece of hardware, or something entirely different.
Sign up with your team, or find a team on the day. Everyone of all skill levels is welcome, as this is a beginner friendly hackathon.
