Shape the future of highways through AI, innovation & collaboration at this multidisciplinary Hackathon at University of Northampton. You don't need to be an AI expert, software developer or highways engineer to take part. The best solutions often emerge when technical knowledge, operational experience and local insight come together.
Working in multidisciplinary teams, you'll spend the day tackling real-world challenges, developing ideas and creating practical solutions with support from facilitators and subject experts.
Explore challenges such as: Potholes & Road Maintenance - How can we identify, prioritise and repair defects more effectively? Asset Management - How can data, technology and local knowledge improve the management of highways assets? Communication & Public Engagement - How can we improve communication with residents, parish councils and stakeholders?
Whether you're an engineer, developer, designer, researcher, student, communications specialist or simply someone with valuable experience to contribute, you'll have something to bring.
