This unique event, hosted at Cineworld Cardiff, will bring the reality of a cyberattack to life on the big screen.

Join Stuart Steer of Steer IT Solutions and Jason Douglas of Dragon Defence Cyber Security Solutions as they take you through a simulated attack in real time. Watch what happens as systems are compromised, access is lost and pressure builds: If your team was suddenly locked out of its systems, what would you do first? How would you contact customers or members? Could you access critical information? Who would make the decisions? How quickly could you respond if your usual communication channels were no longer available?

Supported by Cardiff University's Cyber Innovation Hub, this is a unique opportunity to move beyond the theory and see how a cyber incident could actually affect the day-to-day running of an organisation. You'll have the chance to ask questions, gain practical advice from cyber security specialists, explore the vulnerabilities that could affect your own organisation and understand the steps you can take now to strengthen your resilience. There will also be time to network with fellow business leaders and professionals, share experiences and make useful connections.

Bios

Jason Douglas brings years of hands-on experience across cybersecurity and technology to the UK security sector, working directly with organisations to strengthen their defences against an increasingly sophisticated and fast-moving threat landscape. He has held senior leadership positions at two of the UK's leading cyber security and information security firms, including roles as Global Head of Channel Sales and Head of Channel, where he built and scaled high-performing partner ecosystems delivering enterprise-grade security solutions across the UK & Ireland and North America. Throughout his career, Jason has earned a reputation for bridging the gap between technical excellence and commercial clarity. He specialises in helping organisations of all sizes understand their cyber risk in practical terms and take confident, informed action. He has spoken publicly on topics such as cyber incident response planning, ransomware resilience, and building security cultures that go beyond tick-box compliance.

He works with clients, not just for them, translating complex risk into clear decisions and giving leadership teams the confidence to act. Stuart Steer brings years of hands-on experience in IT, technology and business support to his role at Steer IT Solutions. Working closely with organisations across Wales and beyond, he has built a reputation for making technology straightforward, reliable and accessible, helping businesses use IT to support their day-to-day operations and longer-term ambitions. As the founder of Steer IT Solutions, Stuart understands that businesses need more than technical fixes. They need a trusted partner who can explain their options clearly, respond when things go wrong and help them make informed decisions about their systems, security and future technology needs. His approach combines practical technical knowledge with a strong understanding of the commercial pressures facing businesses of all sizes.
